The American Museum of Natural History is gearing up to begin construction on their new Richard Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation, on their Upper West Side campus. Construction had been stalled due to litigation after community groups attempted to block the project which will be built on a quarter-acre portion of land from the existing Theodore Roosevelt Park.

Tishman Speyer has just revealed their first ground-up condo tower in New York City which will rise in Downtown Brooklyn, adjacent to the Macy's the developer is currently renovating. Known as 11 Hoyt, the tower will rise 51-stories, designed by Studio Gang, the Chicago-based architecture firm led by Jeanne Gang.
