Tishman Speyer has just revealed their first ground-up condo tower in New York City which will rise in Downtown Brooklyn, adjacent to the Macy's the developer is currently renovating. Known as 11 Hoyt, the tower will rise 51-stories, designed by Studio Gang, the Chicago-based architecture firm led by Jeanne Gang. Tishman Speyer purchased a parking garage next to Macy's, later demolishing it to make way for 11 Hoyt. The developer recently completed foundation work and has begun work on 11 Hoyt's superstructure.
11 Hoyt will offer 480 total residences and an additional 55,000 SF of amenity space. Residences range from studio to 4-bedroom floor plans and prices will start around $600,000 and range up to $4 million. In total, due to the buildings radical design, 11 Hoyt will offer 190 different layouts. The tower will also feature interiors by Michaelis Boyd Associates and landscape design by Hollander Design. The project also marks Studio Gang's first residential project in New York City. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is the exclusive sales and marketing firm at the project and they expect to launch sales this summer (2018).
“11 Hoyt is destined to become Downtown Brooklyn’s most desirable new address,” said Tishman Speyer CEO, Rob Speyer, in a statement. “The combination of 11 Hoyt’s world-class design, unmatched amenity space and convenient, highly coveted location make this development truly one-of-a-kind.”
Completion is expected in 2020.
