The XI, HFZ Capital Group's full-block, mixed-use development between the High Line and the Hudson River in West Chelsea designed by Bjarke Ingels, has officially launched sales with pricing starting at $2.85 million. The developers have also launched a website at www.thexi.com.
The East Tower, dubbed No. X, offers 87 residences designed by Parisian husband and wife team Gilles & Boissier. 6 are now listed, priced from $2.95 million for an 888 SF 1-bedroom, 1.5-bath residences to $12 million for a 3,373 SF 4-bedroom, 3.5 bath residence. These newly listed homes begin on the 11th floor at 100’ high and sit above Six Senses Hotel.
Residences at No. X feature natural oak chevron floors with six-inch white painted baseboards and a custom smoked oak entry door with patinated bronze brass door casing and concealed hinges. Kitchens feature custom Italian-made Molteni cabinetry in white-brushed Epicea wood and white lacquer, Carnico Girgio marble chevron floors with Carnico Grigio baseboards and honed Calacatta Gold marble countertop and backsplash; all with fully-integrated appliances are by Gaggenau and Miele. Of the 149 residences in the West Tower, known as No. I, designed by Gabellini Sheppard Associates, eight will be listed and priced from $2.85 million for a 959 SF 1-bedroom, 1.5-bath home to $28 million for a 5,663 SF 5-bedroom, 5.5-bath half-floor Penthouse with 239 SF of outdoor space on the 32nd floor. The listing represents is the first to go live from the collection of Penthouses.
Residences in No. I will feature seven-inch wide-plank floors, vein-cut slab honed silver travertine stone foyer floors and custom Eucalyptus wood entry doors with conceled hinges, kitchens finished with custom German-engineered Bulthaup cabinetry in Grey Larch wood and Eucalyptus with honed White Princess quartzite counter tops and backsplashes and islands with a raised breakfast bar, complete with fully-integrated appliances by Gaggenau and Miele. The $1.9 billion development will be home to the first US destination by Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, ultra-luxury homes, multiple restaurants, innovative retail, an art space and a newly created public promenade adjacent to The High Line that HFZ is developing in collaboration with Friends of The High Line. XI is expected to open to residents in 2019.
