111 West 57th Street, JDS, Property Markets Group (PMG) and Spruce Capital's skinny SHoP Architects-designed supertall which is now rising on Billionaires' Row, has officially launched sales. Sales and marketing are being exclusively overseen by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. When complete 111 West 57th Street will rise 1,428' and will be among the tallest towers in the NYC and the most slender skyscraper in the world. The tower will feature 46 full floor and duplex apartments with 360-degree views and unparalleled views of Central Park, priced from $18 million to $57 million. There will also be a 5,000 SF penthouse priced at $20 million. SHoP's design for the building form multiplies the set-back to present a feathered profile. The terra-cotta facades and bronze filigree aim to bring back the quality, materiality and details of historic New York towers, while taking advantage of the latest technology to push the limits of engineering and fabrication. Amenities in the building include a private porte cochere, an 82’ pool, a fitness center, dining room, resident’s lounge and five star staff and concierge services. Top out and completion are expected in 2019.
