The 18-Story, 115-unit North Tower at 121 East 22nd Street in Gramercy has gotten its façade as construction crews race towards completion over the 2-building, 133 unit project. The project is under development by Toll Brothers City Living and Gemdale Corporation with architecture by Rem Koolhaas and Sho Shigematsu's Office for Metropolitan Architecture, also known as OMA, and interiors by INC. SLCE Architects is the architect of record. The development features 2 buildings, with a 13-story tower (South Tower) on 22nd street which topped of earlier this year (2017) around an interior courtyard. The South Tower features 25 units ranging from 1-bedroom, 991 SF residences up to 4-bedroom, 3,248 SF residences. The North Tower rises 210' and features 115 units which range from 641 SF studios to 3,798 SF, 5 bedroom units. The North Tower also features 4 retail spaces accounting from 12,125 SF. Amenities include an indoor pool, a landscaped courtyard, an indoor/outdoor residents’ lounge, a rooftop terrace with fire pit and grilling area, private dining room, catering kitchen, fitness center, screening room, concierge service, available automated indoor parking, bike storage, private storage, and 24-hour doorman service. Completion is expected in late 2018.
