Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has purchased another Upper East Side townhouse adjacent to his 3 other adjoined townhouses as he continues to build his assemblage for his Upper East Side mega-mansion. The current 3 townhouse assemblage was approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission and was designed by an all-star line-up of architects including Stephen Wang + Associates and Herzog & de Meuron. The assemblage now includes 9 East 75th Street joining up with 11, 13 and 15 East 75th Street. 11, 13 and 15 East 75th Street equates to roughly 18,000 SF of living space and as assembled for $94 million. The conversion plans call for a central atrium with 2nd floor courtyard, double-height art room, indoor pool, rooftop kitchen and a greenhouse. The Landmarks Preservation Commission will review the plans on November 14, 2017.
