The Parker West, a new boutique condominium in the heart of the Upper West Side has just launched sales last Friday. The new development is named after Dorothy Parker, a famous American poet and writer, located on the site of her New York childhood home. The original home was a gray-stone townhouse that was torn down two years to build the new 22-story luxury boutique property. The Parker West will pay homage to Dorothy Parker’s roots by featuring a photo of her in the lobby along with images of the original site throughout amenity spaces.
The new modern building will offer a downtown boutique aesthetic within the historic Upper West Side neighborhood. The condominium features one to three-bedrooms with pricing ranging from $1.3 million to $3 million. Residences will offer beautiful views of the Hudson River and Upper West Side. Amenities feature a private rooftop with a BBQ station, fitness center and outdoor children’s playground. The building will be complete in the next few months.
The Parker West is located at 214 West 72nd street between Broadway and West End Avenue. The condo is designed by Eddie Yedid and Thomas Hickey of GRADE New York and developed by SK Development, CB Developers and Brooklyn Standard Properties. The development team is known for projects including 40 Gansevoort Street, 10 Bond Street, The Urban Glass House and 363 Lafayette Street.
