The Aufgang Architects-designed 700 East 241st Street has been revealed in the Wakefield neighborhood of The Bronx. The proposed building would rise 9-stories and would feature 381,000 SF of residential, 17,000 SF of community space, 62,000 SF of commercial space, and below-grade parking for 100 cars. The residential component of the project would offer 416 apartments with 255 of them permanently affordable. There will also be outdoor recreation areas on top of the first floor as well as possible office space. No construction timeline has been set and the project is still awaiting permitting.
