Sales Launch At 150 East 78th Street Designed By Robert A.M. Stern Architects

January 29, 2021

150 East 78th Street, a new exclusive condominium in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, has recently launched sales. The building is designed by award-winning architectural firm Robert A.M. Stern Architects with interiors by designer Robert Couturier and architecture by Ismael Leyva Architects. The developers are Midwood Investment & Development and EJS Group.

“Midwood and EJS are excited to announce the launch of sales at 150 East 78th Street, unveiling our shared vision to bring the highest level of finishes within thoughtfully laid out residences to this sought-after enclave in Manhattan,” said John Usdan, CEO of Midwood Investment & Development.”

150 East 78th Street is currently under construction and will offer 25 residences with an anticipated occupancy planned for Summer 2021. Condos will range in size from three-bedrooms to five-bedrooms along with duplex residences with private elevator access. The five penthouses will feature private terraces, custom fireplaces and beautiful views of Central Park, the East River,  Midtown and the Upper East Side.

“150 East 78th Street’s world class team of architects and designers collaborated to create an elegantly crafted building and extraordinary collection of homes,” said Ted Segal, founder of EJS Group.

Robert Couturier collaborated with Christopher Peacock to design spacious eat-in kitchens that are even more popular now with New Yorkers’ new COVID-19 lifestyles. The kitchens feature walnut-paneled islands, stone countertops, custom backsplashes and top of the line appliances that include Miele ovens and wine storage. The condo will also offer residents many amenities and services. Amenities include The Parlor which houses a billiards table and on-suite catering kitchen for entertaining and private events. The Athletic Club features a squash court, basketball hoop, fitness center, training studio and golf simulator. There is also a landscaped rooftop terrace complete with a fire pit and grill.

“150 East 78th Street is located in one of the most desirable and established neighborhoods in the world,” said Compass Development Marketing Group’s Alexa Lambert, the building’s exclusive sales and marketing agent. “With just 25 residences and a multitude of curated amenities, 150 East 78th Street offers an unprecedented level of privacy and conveniences that make everyday living more relaxing and enjoyable. This block is home to some of the neighborhood’s prettiest townhomes, including the landmarked Gimbel residences, which are just across this beautifully treelined street.”

150 East 78th Street is located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side on the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 78th Street. It is a short walk away from popular shopping destinations, Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Guggenheim and The Frick Collection. Residences start at $5.2 million with closings slated for Summer 2021. Sales and marketing for 150 East 78th Street are exclusively held with Alexa Lambert and Compass Development Marketing Group.
