Architect Sir David Adjaye is collaborating with Aston Martin to create five luxury homes in 130 William. 130 William is a luxury high-rise tower in the financial district. Each of these five homes will come with a special edition Aston Martin DBX, also custom designed by Architect Sir David Adjaye.
“This is a fascinating project for the Aston Martin design team to work on and a great opportunity to collaborate with Sir David,” said Marek Reichman, Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer. “It is our first real estate project in New York City but our second collaboration in real estate design after the Aston Martin Residences in Miami. We can apply what we have learnt in Miami and also bring our unique automotive design skills to these beautiful luxury homes.”
Sir David Adjaye is responsible for designing and crafting the limited-edition collection of homes while embracing 130 William’s aesthetic and inspiration from iconic NY architecture. Sir David Adjaye, said: “It was exciting to find an opportunity to collaborate with the Aston Martin team. The 130 William Aston Martin homes have been touched in a very particular way that merges our design sensibilities. Together with the limited edition SUVs that come with these units, we’ve created a truly unique signature that blends our two disciplines.”
The collection of five homes will come fully furnished and are located on the 59th and 60th floors. The furniture is designed with hand-crafted materials from the Aston Martin Home Collection by the Italian manufacturer Formitalia. Each home features a private outdoor balcony, grand living room and dining room with city-wide views. Buyers will also have the option to customize one room to feature a racing simulator created by Aston Martin Design and Curv Racing Simulators. Curv Racing Simulators is a new British technology company founded by Darren Turner, an industry leader in racing simulation technology.
130 William is developed by Lightstone with sales and marketing exclusively by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group. Two of the five homes in the collection are penthouses priced at $11.5 million and $10.5 million. The other three homes are priced at $3.985 million, $5.985 million and $10 million.
