Field Condition has released new construction photos of the Tadao Ando-designed 152 Elizabeth Street in Nolita. The condo building which topped of in February 2017 rises 7-stories and features floor-to-ceiling glass, making up a concrete and glass jewel box-style façade. 152 Elizabeth Street marks Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese Architect Tadao Ando's first residential development in NYC and outside Asia. The project was first announced in March 2014 with construction commencing in August 2016.
152 Elizabeth Street is a 7-story boutique condo building situated in the heart of Nolita. The building celebrates Ando's hallmarks such as poured-in-place concrete, burnished metal, voluminous glass and a living green wall. Considered a concrete and glass jewel box, the striking condominium features just 7, luxurious custom homes, each of which is focused on creating a sense of openness throughout the home as well as a fluidity between the indoors and the outdoors. Pricing ranges from $6.25 million to over $15 million. 152 Elizabeth is being developed by Sumaida + Khurana, Compass is the exclusive sales and marketing firm for the development.
