The Lane, a 108-unit luxury rental building in Downtown Brooklyn, has officially welcomed its first residents this week (November 3, 2017). The Lane is tucked away at 415 Red Hook Lane, on one of the oldest streets in Brooklyn. The historic road dates back to the 1700s and played a significant role in the Civil War’s Battle of Brooklyn. The Lane was designed by Ennead Architects and is being developed by Quinlan Development Group and Lonicera Partners. The building rises 21-stories and features a facade of classic brick and contemporary glass window wall. A private entrance on Red Hook Lane leads to a double-height lobby attended by a 24-hour concierge, where elevators ascend to 108 residences ranging from studios to 3-bedrooms. All of the rental apartments feature oversized soundproof windows with custom solar window shades, as well as Bosch washer and dryers. Amenities include a fitness center with FitLink custom exercise programs and an outdoor cool down area; a children’s playroom curated by local educator Carmelo the Science Fellow; and a club room with an expansive outdoor terrace and a protected play area for children. The Lane also features a furnished rooftop terrace includes grills, seating, shuffleboard and sweeping views of downtown Brooklyn and the Manhattan skyline. Net-effective pricing starts at $2,723 for a 1-bedroom apartment, which includes one month free on a 13-month lease. Leasing is being exclusive marketed by Nancy Packes Signature Marketing Services
